Rob is a native of Colorado. He was born in 1965 in Colorado Springs. He married Joy on June 20, 1987. Joy was also born in Colorado Springs, as were their two sons, Brent (1989) and Zach (1992).

Rob entered full time ministry in January 1988 as a Youth Pastor at Radiant Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After serving 5 ½ years he and his family moved to Fort Collins to join the Timberline Team. Rob began at Timberline as the Youth Pastor then transitioned to Teaching Pastor and Pastor of Small Groups and Assimilation. After 6 ½ years at Timberline, Rob returned to Colorado Springs accepting the Senior Pastor position at Radiant Church. Rob spent six years as the Senior Pastor leading the church through transition, then returned to Timberline Church in November 2005 as the Executive Pastor.

Rob enjoys golf, reading, sports, and spending time with his family. He is an avid Denver Bronco’s fan and actually cried when the Broncos won their first Superbowl. He loves the city of Fort Collins and is passionate about the mission of Timberline Church.
