Cal Jernigan

Central Christian Church

Cal Jernigan serves as the Senior Pastor of Central Christian Church of the East Valley.
Prior to assuming this position, Cal served 18 years in the youth ministry from 1978 to 1996 in both Arizona and California. He began his journey at Central in 1987 as Youth pastor and continued in this role until 1996. From 1996 to 1999 he served Central as the Associate Senior Pastor.
Cal assumed the role of Senior Pastor in 1999.
He earned a B.A. degree from Pacific Christian College and an M.A. degree in Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. Cal currently serves on the Hope International University Board of Trustees and the Provision Ministries/Church Development Fund Board of Directors.
Married in 1978 to Lisa, the Jernigan¹s have two grown children.
Jeremy, who is on staff at Central and is married to Michelle, and Amy, who attends a University in Arizona.
