AOA holds to the historic Christian faith, as expressed in the three ecumenical creeds. The Scriptures are considered to be the final say in matters of doctrine and practice. The academy seeks to equip Christians with the facts of their faith so that they can minister to others as well as resist the challenges posed by other systems of thought.
